Certification and warranty

All Newport gratings are certified, attesting to their high performance and precision.

The purchaser of each Newport grating receives a certificate tracing the origin of that replica to a specific master.

Gratings are warranted to perform to the specifications on the certificate when delivered to the customer.

If a grating fails to meet any of these specifications, Newport corporation will, at its discretion, replace the grating or refund its purchase price.

This warranty does not cover damage in transit, damage caused by carelessness, misuse or neglect, inappropriate environmental conditions, or unsatisfactory performance as a result of conditions beyond our control.

If a grating is altered in any way by the customer (e.g., by coating, cleaning, mounting) this warranty becomes invalid.
